Story of a Boy

He awaits patiently for his turn. It is just not fair, the way life treats him. What’s worse is how love treats his very fragile heart. He’s had to glue the pieces back too many times before. In doing so, he has now become the founder of the broken hearts foundation. He has always been the “Home boy”, the “best friend” to those he fell for. There he sat, willingly yet unwillingly listening to his crushes’ heart breaking stories, struggles, and successes. He tries to be happy for that person, and at times, he succeeds in doing so; but reality hits harder when he realizes he is only fooling himself. So what is a guy to do? He tries to do the right thing, but the right thing feels so wrong, and who determines what is right? So he continues to wait. It is the one thing he does best. He waits.
